As a fellow member of the blog team, we am so excited to fairly share numerous of my day-to-day experiences as an Assistant Director of Admission at USC. once I speak with my friends and household about my job, they often ask questions like ‘what do you do on a regular basis?’ or ‘do you have to work in the summer?’ I’m hoping that through my additions that are monthly this weblog, you’ll get a much better idea of what we do each and every day as admission counselors.
Therefore allow’s start with the present. This i woke up at the Courtyard Marriott in Vienna, VA morning. My very first visit began at 7:45 am. That might sound early to some, reasonable to others, but we can let you know, this at 7:45 have always been, I was tired (7:45 am in VA feels like 3:45 am in CA…oy. early morning) The thing is, my trip from Los Angeles was designed to arrive at Reagan National Airport at 3:43 pm yesterday (to be exact.) But instead, due to a cockpit that is wet (I kid you maybe not,) my journey was delayed three hours. Luckily, my first school check out this morning always has coffee waiting for me, and I was specially appreciative today (Thanks Sheila!) Although I usually give about a 30 minute presentation to pupils when I visit, at this school it’s a different sort of format which consists mostly of me answering questions.
